Christian Discipleship is not always easy.  Jesus was clear about what it costs to follow Him.  It costs…everything.  Therefore, we are advised to count the cost before we take a next step.

Churches of every type and size struggle to do discipleship well.  Some churches make it too complicated.  Other churches set the bar too low.  The bar should be high, because it is Christ’s Church.   Jesus modeled the pathway for His disciples.  His way is simple, clear, and transformational.  This series will be a practical model of Christ-like discipleship that works, because it meets every person right where they are and helps them move forward in their faith.

These days it feels as though people think that “community” is what happens through social media. In reality, social media often keeps us from being in a real authentic community.  Community requires that we actually be face-to-face and to do more than just observe; it requires that we participate.

Our human body requires fuel.  SO what fuels your life?  As Christians, our fuel comes from reading and reflecting on scripture.  This is God’s word.  He speaks to us through His word.  So, join us in the discipline of scripture.

What is prayer?  The best way is to think of it as a conversation with your Heavenly Father.  Some of us struggle or feel intimidated by prayer. Our prayers reveal a lot about our faith in God. Prayer is meant to help and change us. So, how’s your prayer life?  Could it be better?

: Who doesn’t look forward to time off from work and school.  However, most of us do not really take time off. Why is that? Did you know that God has it planned that we would take one day in seven off…every week?   How much better would things be in our lives if we honored the spiritual discipline of Sabbath?
