What a Week!

Wow! What a snow. I'm so impressed that so many of you braved the weather and icy roads to be in worship this week!

It seems like so much has happened this week. It began with the Annual State of the Church banquet! (I'm so proud of West Campus's own Bobby Nixon who shared his amazing tetimony!) Please don't forget to bring back your commitment packets this week; also if you haven't picked yours up it will be mailed to you this week. The week continued with a great night at Celebrate Recovery and then Wednesday Out West. Saturday we ended up cancelling the iMPLORE service to allow more time for snow removal. And then what amazing worship services we had on Sunday morning. Thanks to the new Traditional Vocal Team-you are sounding Great!

Sunday evening we had a great time with the family night; making paper airplanes and trying to fly them through the aerial obsticle course. And Kristen Barrick did a great job bring our parents up to date on the Children's Ministry plans for our Winter and Spring (if you missed it, just contact her for all the details).

Our first ever Youth Council met and made some wonderful plans for our youth ministry. I'm very excited about the future of  youth ministry at Saint Stephen West. If you have any quesions about this minsitry contact Jason Archuleta or any of members of our council: Kay Ronk, Marcia Bentle, Robin Meek, Kyle Cowan, Dusty Barrick, and Jennifer Bouressa.

I've been really enjoying this message series we started two weeks ago: From the Heart! Each week we are exploring a topic that God has dealt with me about praying that as we have this conversation we will hear from the Heart of God for each of us. This Week: Overstuffed!

Grace and Peace,
Rich
