Short Term Missions Trips

The mandate is clear. The Church of Jesus Christ is to GO and MAKE DISCIPLES of all people-groups. (Matthew 28:19)

The Joshua Project estimates there are 16,295 people groups in the world. Of those, only 6,358 are primarily Christian. In other words, 61% of the world’s people groups have not embraced Christ.

The members of Saint Stephen Church are always interested in responding in any kind of disaster. In past years we have provided food, supplies and work teams to help in rebuilding for those who have survived disasters like tornadoes or hurricanes. We can’t completely repair their lives the way they were, but we do what we can and always trust God to do the healing ministry.

Our church has also been instrumental in heading up several missions in Mexico. We have sent teams on medical mission trips, and we have built several houses and been a part of other construction projects in Juarez.

Our youth also participate in annual short-term trips. They have been a part of children’s and evangelical missions in Mexico and disaster relief efforts here in the States. ContactScott Smith for upcoming trips and information.

Our Single Young Adult Ministry also goes abroad annually to various countries, participating in various types of missions. Contact Lauren Houlette for upcoming trips and information.
