Mother Daughter Dinner
Our United Methodist Women sponsor this potluck salad supper followed by an evening of entertainment every year in May.
June Yarns and Yards Tour
This event in June for women begins with a salad supper at the church, and then tours the gardens of some of our members to exchange tips and meet new friends.
Vacation Bible School the third week in July
Every Year during the third week in July over 200 adults are involved in the planning and production of our VBS for children ages 4 through 5th grade.
Block Party
Each year in August, the Sunday before school starts, Saint Stephen hosts a Block Party. Beginning at 11 a.m. we provide hot dogs and fun outdoor activities for all ages and families. Join us in the parking lot and get to know the congregation at Saint Stephen!
Fall Festival
On Halloween evening over 100 adults volunteer at our Fall Festival, providing candy, prizes and games for the children of Saint Stephen and Amarillo.
Affair to Remember
An Affair to Remember is our annual women’s ministry dinner held the third week in September for the purpose of making new friends and sharing decorating ideas. Approximately 35 tables are decorated in a wide variety of themes. The evening consists of dinner and a motivational speaker.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Traditionally held on the last Sunday evening before Thanksgiving, this dinner is a wonderful opportunity for great food and fellowship. Turkey and dressing are provided with families bringing the side dishes.
Women’s Home Tour
This event is offered on Wednesday in the third week of December and involves a soup and breads supper. Women break up into groups of three or four to tour the homes and exchange friendships.
