Fall Festival - Join us as we celebrate the fall season on Halloween night. Our building comes alive as children dressed in non-scary costumes and their families come at no charge to trick or treat, play games and win prizes, all in a safe and warm environment. A full meal complete with coffee shop and seasonal photographs are offered for a nominal charge.
Bible Presentation - As a Bible-teaching church, Saint Stephen strives to make sure all children are equipped with their own copy of God’s word. Each October all second grade children are presented with a NIV copy of “The Adventure Bible for Young Readers” during the Contemporary Worship Services of both campuses.
Created By God Retreat - During this winter weekend event, 4th and 5th grade students are introduced to human sexuality from a Christian perspective. The curriculum is written in a positive, entertaining style and covers material that will be helpful to children as they enter puberty. The material is biblically based showing God’s view of sexuality in a positive manner. A strong emphasis is placed on family relationships and parents will join their children at the conclusion of the weekend for a special time of sharing and communion.
Eggstravaganza - Come celebrate Jesus! The Saturday morning before Easter, join us for music, crafts, stories, and exciting egg hunts! All children, ages toddler through fifth grade are invited to experience the joy of Easter in an engaging, age appropriate way!
Happy Birthday Jesus Party- The most important birthday ever! You don’t want to miss this party! There will be breakfast, keepsake crafts, cookie or cake decorating, fun games, and of course, a unique version of the wonderful Christmas story during our Sunday morning activities.
VBS - During the 3rd week of July you will be amazed as an entire church is involved and transformed into a fun filled adventure land. Children, ages 4 by September 1st through 5th grade, are invited on a journey into the Bible. Real-life dramas, engaging music, exciting games, tasty snacks, authentic storytelling, and hands-on activities provide stimulating learning experiences that help bring the Bible to life.
Summer Camp – What better way to explore the beauty of being outdoors than in a Christian camping environment. Children who have completed third and fourth grades are invited to attend a week of overnight camp in the beautiful Ceta Canyon. Bible study, small group sessions and great worship along with arts and crafts, hiking, and swimming make for lifelong memories and changed lives.
Mission Projects - Our students are involved in various mission projects throughout the year, both locally and overseas. We support such endeavors as the Nonfood Pantry, Changing Lives of Children, nursing home ministries, as well as Operation Christmas Child and School Supplies to Mexico through DeNike Ministries, and many others.
