Thanks to all who took time to come to the Summer Snack Pack 4 Kids meeting this past Sunday. We had a total of 18 people who attended. Debbie reported that the starting date for this project will begin on June 3rd and will continue through the summer on Sundays as well.
There are many opportunities to help with this program and sign up sheets will be available this Sunday in the foyer for you or your group to pick a day or days! After the meeting Sunday we have already had several groups call and requesting dates to work. Debbie also plans to have an informational table with a sample of each of the supplemental food items that would be available for people to purchase for the Packs. She has also shopped around and found where to go and how much each costs food item costs. This will help us cut down the cost of what we are already buying.
