| The Mission of Saint Stephen Mother's Day Out The mission of Saint Stephen Mother's Day Out is to: 1. Provide outstanding childcare. 2. Generate an atmosphere of Christian concern for each family leaving a child in our care. 3. Provide an environment in which good learning experiences can be accomplished. Saint Stephen Mother's Day Out Program was organized in 1972. 35 years of quality Christian care. Registration is required for all children who will be attending on a regular basis. | Daily Activities We offer a quality Christian environment that typically incorporates: • Free Choice Time~toys & materials are provided for the children to explore and play with according to their own interests • Circle Time~stories, games, finger plays & other activities are shared together in short times throughout the day • Large Motor Development~children are allowed to run, jump, climb & play with balls & other toys, either on the playground or in the gym • Craft Time~children will work on age appropriate crafts that support a monthly Biblical theme or other concepts they are learning during circle time • Rest Time~children will be asked to nap or rest quietly on a mat on the floor • Snack Time~snacks consist of cookies, crackers, pretzels, cereal, etc., along with water or lemonade • Music Time~consists of age-appropriate Christian songs where children learn to incorporate movement & rhythm, sign language, marching & dance and use of percussion instruments~while learning the words & beat to the songs. Schedule Tuesday/Thursday 8:30-9:30 Early Bird 9:30-10:00 Sign in & Pay 3:00-3:30 Parents pick-up children For safety purposes, doors will be locked during the hours of 10:00~3:00. If you need to enter the building during this time, please use the front entrance. Late fees will be assessed for children not picked up by 3:30. $5 - 3:30-3:45 $9 - 3:45-4:00 |
