The Family of God is a very special reality. It is more than a club. It is more than a civic organization. It is more than a place. It is a Home where people love you unconditionally.
I realize some of us grew up in houses where that never happened, but did that ever stop us from dreaming of what a real home and a real family might be like? The truth is, the Home I’m talking about is impossible without God’s love. God’s love is absolute, unconditional, and eternal.
The Family of God, then, is a gathering of people who have experienced God’s love personally and in life-changing ways. This Family, this Home, is bigger than “married” or “single.” It’s bigger than “children” or “no children.” It’s bigger than race or color or economic status. In God’s Family all—I mean all—are welcome. Here at Saint Stephen we want to be the best expression of God’s Family we can possibly be, and we would love for you to visit us and get to know us.
