Proverbs 4:13 “Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.”

Still in the formation process, our drama team will soon be another exciting new ministry at Saint Stephen.  Worshipping the Lord takes on several different meanings, and drama is one way to proclaim God’s goodness and His faithfulness.  If you have been on stage in Broadway or have never acted before, this is a place to find the gifts God gave you.  This group will do short acts in worship services at both the East and West Campus, provide entertainment for special events, do street ministry for the Mission Field and more.

Acting is not the only job needed for this ministry. There are many behind the scenes jobs people can use their talent for. Here are a few jobs you might see yourself doing: 

STAGE MANAGER- the Director's right hand

SET DESIGNER- designs all the scenic elements of the play

BACKSTAGE CREW- responsible for moving all set pieces into place on time

COSTUMER- enhances the production with performers' attire

PROPERTY MASTER- responsible for the set decoration, furniture, and hand props used by the actors

ACTOR/ACTRESS- the voice of the playwright, the canvas of the director, and the hand of the designer.
